A Rather Harsh Critique on the Current Direction of Our Nation

Do you believe that the federal government should dictate how much executives on Wall Street are paid? Do you believe the Obama administration should be allowed to let Chrysler break bankruptcy laws? Is it your contention that the Obama administration did the right thing when it bailed out the auto industry?

What are your thoughts on taxing and regulating the coal industry into submission and forcing us to use alternative energy? Do you believe that we need more regulation on corporations to keep them from making excess of profits?

Depending on the answers to these questions you might be in Obamanazi. Now before you get upset, let me make my point from the philosophical perspective. You see socialists, do these types of things, and they get their strength and authority by taking it to the people and then claiming it is the will of the people, so it must be done.

And now let's consider history for a moment; NAZI Germany was socialist, and Hitler was a socialist dictator. Many people fail to realize that, and it is rather funny when Democrats run around telling Republicans that conservatives are NAZI-like.

If you are willing to have the government step in and dictate production capacity, limits on profits, price control, and taking over free enterprise businesses, then you would have been one of the types people that allowed NAZI Germany to do what it did. I'm not trying to scare you and I don't believe that we could ever become like that here in the United States, as we have a very engrained set of laws protecting against such a horrific thing.

Rather, I am just pointing out the reality of the situation, and if you'll recall in history things didn't work out so well for that so-called thousand year civilization. So, I ask you one more time; “Are You an Obamanazi?” Rather than asking me, “what's that?” just sit back and think about what I've said here today. Not in anger of the new word produced here, but in retrospect to the direction our nation is going from a philosophical perspective.
