They may think that what you are being offered is sufficient and recommend that you simply accept the check. On the other hand, they may compare your situation to other lawsuits they have been involved in and recommend that you are not getting enough money and that it may be a good idea to pursue an industrial accident claim in order to achieve the appropriate level of compensation. An experienced lawyer will have the expertise and connections to maximize your chances of getting as much money from your employer as possible and is your best chance of success in a lawsuit. Don't choose a lawyer without experience this type of case because they will probably be substantially less helpful that someone who deals with this every day.
